Palmcast, an audio online show for family friendly entertainment has taking LIVE to heart and is sharing the live performances of “THE Pals” and other Canadian Tribute, original and interesting gigs in this industry.
Ben, Sam, Kane and their Dad on their coat tails entertain all. We will not stop as long we are having fun. Music is fun. No fun on an unset up or needing repair instrument or it is never too late for lessons. As the cellist at 90 said after being asked why do you still practise, he told the reporter, “I think I am getting somewhere.” Always more to learn. Music makes me happy. Promoting a musical instrument superstore that has lessons, 280 seat venue for rent and a department for everything musical.

Starz, Disney Channel, Teen Nick, Nickelodeon, Lifetime, performances at sold-out clubs and theaters, and two of his own prime time stand-up comedy specials, comedian, screenwriter and author Michael Gelbart is truly someone with a decent bio. He has an audience-friendly approach, with material that is completely unique and crowd work that is second to none. His debut novel The Other Oprahs has been called “hilariously inspiring.”Michael started his comedy career in high school and continued through college while majoring in broadcasting. After graduating, he landed his own prime-time CBC special, his first national exposure showcasing his abilities as a performer and writer. A second special followed on CTV/Comedy Network, with both airing on Comedy Central, as well as offers in TV and film. He was a writer and later head writer of the Canadian Screen Awards (formerly the Geminis), wrote dozens of episodes of sitcoms and animated series for Starz, Teen Nick, Cartoon Network, and Disney, while contributing to full seasons as creative consultant .
As a screenwriter, he has written five pilots and eight features, four of which have been optioned. He wrote and co-starred in the holiday movie "A Very Cool Christmas" which airs annually on Lifetime and was released on DVD by The Weinstein Company. His CD "Hello Comedy Lovers" can be heard frequently on Sirius XM.
Michael performs all over North America, dividing his time between the US and Canada. His latest movie as writer/co-producer and lead actor "Dumped" .

Schools are always fundraising and this one I could get behind with my sons, down one due to cold, and support a cause. They Raised $895.08. Coming Back from the UK to Ontario, Canada for some must see shows in February. HE is one of the most original comics currently working today. Wes is originally from Canada and is one of the funniest and madcap physical comedians around.
Wes entertains with his hilarious and anarchic physical comedy routines and is easily one of the most exciting acts on the comedy and cabaret circuit. This is definitely one of the zaniest shows on the market. Mad as a box of badgers Zaharuk raises the roof with his physical interactive comedy. A rip-roaring jump into the surreal. Wes credits his comic roots to his parents. They made ‘not listening’ an Olympic event. As a child, his parents dressed him in wool pants that were incredibly itchy. Complain as he would, his words fell on deaf ears. When he developed a skin condition that looked like a large, all-dressed pizza, he was tested for allergies. It was found that he was allergic to wool. Through it all, Wes developed his desire to be heard — if only to reduce rash.

Executive Chef/ Culinary Artist Jagger Gordon earned my education by serving my country in the United States
Marine Corps. As an added bonus, discovering creativity along the
way.
The Marine Corps opened up a whole new world exposing a deep
interest and innate talent in the kitchen, which didn’t go unnoticed.
He worked my way up the ranks until I became Personal Chef to the
Officers, which, in turn, inspired him to trade in my weapon for a
steak knife. After the Marines setting out to find new adventures and opportunities
to satisfy his unbridled curiosity he then went into Private and Personal
Security, allowing travel the expanse of the globe. It was
an amazing time of discovery, he fell in love with so many unique
cultures, especially their food. Throughout the travels always managing to find a way into everyone’s kitchen, mesmerized by the many different blends of spices and of course, the presentation, absorbed every scent, every hint of flavour until discovering favourite combinations an incorporated them into his vision of ‘New World Fusion.’
Eventually finding himself in Toronto. This melting pot of a city
inspired him to further his culinary education. Retired from the
Security Services Industry and enrolled at George Brown , Liaison
Colleges, was a turning point; this is where his personal brand of
food alchemy took on a life of its own.

How Did He Get Started in Fitness?
Jason had a long a journey to health which started with his families textile business. He was experiencing a lot of pain in his lower back. He had surgery to correct Degenerative Spondylosis. Jason underwent 4 surgeries within an 8 year span until finally he said enough is enough and started his journey to functional fitness. His 2 main tools for recovery were Yoga and hanging by gravity boots.Yoga helped strengthen the mind-body connection which was crucial to his recovery. His journey to health became Jason’s career 3 years ago. He started doing a lot of research and then received what he refers to as “the call that changed his life”. This call came from his uncle, who was about 20 year older and worked in the same business. He painted a picture of Jason’s future that he didn’t like. So he decided to make a change and enrolled in the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Jason graduated with a 89.8% average and became a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and is now known as “The Local Health Nut” or “Jason Spilberg Nutrition Inspired”
What Adversity Has He Encountered as a Fitness Enthusiast? The back pain mentioned above was controlling Jason’s life. He couldn’t golf or ski, which were two activities he greatly enjoyed. Now he is able to once again enjoy those sports and then some. In addition to his rigorous workout schedule detailed below Jason is an avid Canoer and Hiker.
What Does Jason’s Typical Workout Week Look Like?Jason works out every day because, as he puts it “Humans were meant to move”. He does 20-40 minutes of Yoga in an empty studio in his gym every single morning. During this yoga he does a body scan and based on that scan decides what he wants to work on.
He is a also big fan of the TRX ropes and usually puts in 30 Minutes on them. Jason favours functional exercises that incorporate the whole body versus more traditional barbell and dumbbell exercises.
What Is Your Advice To People Wanting To Avoid Injury, Especially Back Injuries? “Build your core, focusing on your lats and abs. This will help relieve and prevent a lot of strain on the back.”
What Is Your Take On Nutrition? Jason starts, “Let me start by saying – No two people in the world should follow the same diet precisely. “ Jason continues “General rules are to incorporate lots of anti-inflammatory foods like Garlic, Turmeric and green leafy vegetables.” Adding that you should avoid “refined flours and sugars and pasteurized, nonfat dairy products.” Jason also points out that a lot of inflammatory ingredients are added to modern day dairy products. “They are over processed, over filtered and offer very little nutritional value.”

I grew up in a music industry family. My father was an executive with CBS Records for 30+ years and I started attending shows as a very young boy. My dad was way my hero. I can still remember him taking me and my brother to shows meeting bands like Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears, Journey and songwriters like Billy Joel, Burton Cummings and Bruce Springsteen. I was able to work at the record company every summer and I think I listened to every album that was ever released. I played music continually and I think this is what really gave me my foundation for my music knowledge. So proud of what our family has done in the Canadian Recording Industry.
In an attempt to fulfill a dream, and as part of my life after the record company, I started my own home studio. Writing and producing my own music has always been a dream of mine and I wanted to know if I was good enough to be successful in the business of making music. So, I scaled up my studio and started writing.
It wasn't long after this time that I met Melissa Dimarco, a really talented actress, television personality and celebrity journalist. She was looking for some music for a new biography series she was putting together for Omni Television. It was called “Dreamseeker”. She thought I might be able to help her to license in some music for her series. In the end, I persuaded her to let me submit some original music for her to consider for her project. We’ve been working together ever since. I now focus on writing for a variety of projects for television, commercials and film including two television projects for Melissa.
I compose, perform and produce all the original music for Melissa’s Dreamseeker television series. I also do the same for Melissa's weekly " Out There With Melissa Dimarco” series. We have so much fun on this show each and every week. (www.outtherewithmelissa.com). I now have over 7,000 hours of original published music on national tv. Thats right. My music has been played over multiple stations every week on prime time television since 2004.
My musical journey has also included a trip to British Columbia for a few months to work on some original material with some songwriting and producing partners. Henry Small is an amazingly talented producer and songwriter (www.smallworldstudios.com) who, together with wonder kid Brad Hampton, helped put together a CD of some of my original music. I've included some of "The Project" on the site for you to hear.

Elton Rohn is thrilling audiences across Canada and the USA. Ron Camilleri’s ability to transform into Elton John is uncanny. A self-taught musician, Anthony plays both guitar and keyboards and sings backup for the band, IF they plug in his microphone.
A professional broadcaster for over 20 years, Anthony hosted a live daily talk show for over a decade, anchored at 680 News, hosted In-stadium for the Blue Jays, MC'd hundreds of events, from charity to corporate, and continues to voice numerous radio and television commercials. Born into a musical family, Jonny was classically trained on piano with a Royal Conservatory pedigree. At the age of 12 he fell in love with a gorgeous blonde guitar and they've made beautiful music together ever since. Later while rehearsing with his band "Attic Sounds" for the first inaugural Q107 battle of the bands, he instinctively improvised on the bass guitar. It's been "how low can you go" ever since. Jonny can often be seen slapping his air guitar and whispering "there is no place like The Garden".
Phil Taube
Joe started banging the skins early on and by 11 years old, he became a popular request at weddings as a novelty act. "The Joe aka: “BAM BAM” Franze" rock and heavy metal beats were developed in youth garage bands. These were honed on the club circuit with a B-Boys cover called “The Kokomo Beach” Band and a salute to Motown called “Midnite Hour”. Today, Joe enjoys giving the fans more than Skindeep chills with the original classic rock grooves.

Mark has been performing on stage since age 11. He started out as a young Elvis impersonator and moved on to perform in various rock acts, studio work, and theater. Mark is a self taught musician with a vocal range between Barry White and a choir boy. Mark is the longest standing plant in The Garden, and he looks forward to continuing to bloom.
